Stephens Investment Management Group®, LLC ("SIMG") specializes in equity investment management focused on small and mid-capitalization growth companies. SIMG was established in 2005 as a registered investment advisor offering mutual funds and separately managed accounts for a variety of clients.
SIMG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Stephens Investments Holdings LLC. Portfolio management, research and analysis, trading, and marketing are located in Houston, Texas. Legal, Compliance, Administration and Marketing Support are located in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Prior to joining SIMG, the investment management team was at AIM Investments and responsible for the AIM Small Cap Growth Fund as well as other small and mid-cap investment products at AIM. A number of our investment professionals have experience managing small cap assets since 1995 and have experience through many different market environments.
Our investment approach begins by investing in companies when we believe we have an "edge" - an expertise, theme or industry knowledge. Our combination of core growth and growth catalyst stocks position our accounts for varying market conditions. We are stock pickers and bottom up thematic investors. The Portfolio Management team has a proven, disciplined process and we are focused on style purity and consistent performance.
